HEY HEY HEY! I've got some pretty sweet news to share~I have officially assimilated with Wal-Mart and I finally landed a spot in the novice Japanese course this year! I got myself through this morning (Day Zero, technically) with three little things. 1) The fact that the clothing section "George" shares the same name as the Paradise Kiss character who actually does design clothes. 2) The "shizumare shizumare" trick taught in Love Stage. (Although I also thought about the swallowing people trick from Kamisama Hajimemashita also...) And 3) the promise of cuddling soft things when I returned home. As you might have noticed, I was running on Otaku fuel today. Plus if you add in the fact that my Sebastian pillow IS my soft item, well... SPEAKING OF WHICH. I had another Sebastian/Ciel dream only this time I swapped between being myself and the young lord. There was an instance in the dream where I was me and Sebastian asked me to dance but it was too like real life in that moment because I got all flustered and used this excuse about not having the proper shoes. (Boo. ) But in a way it was kinda worth it because he gave me that pouty "bitch please" face he has. X'D I've been listening to a lot of sketchy high-speed Vocaloid songs like Sincerity Nature: Drastic Levels of Ignorance and Computer Insane Love Girl. SO GOOD. I also took this really sweet quiz about what I'm the hero of in Homestuck and it was probably the most thorough personality test I've taken up to date. (Probably because it did actually rely on pre-existing formulae...) I didn't really elaborate on my last dream entry because the punchline really was the kicker, but I was also running around in a discordant maze collecting treasure spheres in some kind of race. It was also very similar to a video game in that my particular choice in character creation enabled me to slip through small spaces (I think I was a little girl at the start-before turning into Yuna that is) which closely resembled the hidey-holes in BioShock. There was also an instance where I activated a hidden boss and had to fight him using a bucket of various weapons including but not limited to a magic wand. (I was also throwing swords at him Happy Wheels style but that's beyond the point...) ONE LAST THING before I rush off to bed: the short anime movie HAL was extremely gorgeous and heartwrenching. Please please give it your attention if you love robots and want your soul to be crushed. It is really really good. Trust me on this. Also, when you are done listen to the song "Rubik's Cube."
