Hey all! Boogie! It feels like SO LONG since I last checked in. I mean, I've been here (nearly every day) but I've been on stealth mode for some time now (Like a Ninja. SILENT. AS. HELL.) I'm a year older now (though not wiser) than I was when we last spoke (if you can call a one sided blog like this "speaking") and it seems all my summertime excitement is crammed into this one jam-packed month! I think I've fainted. This year I'm not only going to one but TWO cons, not to mention Maleficent coming to theatres! :iconkaedeplz: Speaking of Hollywood, I absolutely LOVED Winter Soldier despite the fact that the Captain has never really been one of my favourites (but he is nevertheless an outstanding dude.) It may just be my favourite superhero flick to date (although don't get me wrong, I still love me some Loki.) I don't know how I feel about Black Widow's part in this one though. Is it just me, or is she the emo straight-haired version of Pinkie Pie? You know, when Pinkie loses the fwomf in her hair and-*ahem.* (nvm ) My lovely cousin :iconfabledbrush: invited me to my first ever Comic Con this weekend and I'm really excited! As usual though, I'm not quite finished my cosplay (which is the genderbent version of Kcalb from Garden Gray) so tomorrow is crunch time! :iconcannotevenplz: Gray Garden was all in all a pretty good game, but THERE WAS A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF POINTLESS WALKING. D: Despite this unfortunate time consuming feature the overall plot was very interesting and the characters were very charming. In a way it kind of reminded me of Homestuck...which may very well be the reason I'm rereading that right now. It's funny how much of an influence these short indie games played in my cosplaying decisions this year, particularly because late March, early April was when I was playing the majority of them. (Fastest cosplay decisions ever made? Quite possibly. Heart) My particular favourite I'm working on right now is my Garry cosplay (although Tsukimi will be fun too~plus she's most like me character-wise) and I'm probably going to have to have someone rip that jacket off me at some point otherwise I'll just keep wearing it. :3 (FOREVER.) Just started watching Watamote today and just as I figured it paints a pretty realistic picture of myself (despite the mean older sister shenanigans-I think I am a fairly nice step-sister, thank you very much.) I really am enjoying it, although if I didn't have multiple social dates coming up in the near future I don't think I'd be strong enough to watch it. (That's probably why I didn't approach it during the school year: whole lots of nope. ._.) Another anime I've watched fairly recently is Diabolik Lovers. I went in with a warning that it may be the most unfluffery otome based anime I could watch, but truth be told I really enjoyed it anyways. ^^; (Despite the fact I do despise certain character traits...the fact Laito called Yui "bitch-chan" throughout really peeved me. :x) I did some research *cough cough* afterwards to see if the game would be worth trying out, because I intended on picking up a few otomes this year and I'm still unsure. The only routes I know I'd run through are Shuu and Subaru's. I'm a little disappointed because although I really liked Ayato in the show, apparently he is not as enjoyable in the game itself. :c Probably the most interesting character was Kanato. I never really knew how I should feel about him, because he was either a brat or strangely cute?? the entire time. I love the fact that his voice actor is the same guy who voices Eren (SnK) and Shu (Guilty Crown.) He has a REEEEEEEEEEEALLY amazing singing voice. I freaked out when he started singing Scarborough Fair, and his character song-Kirisaki Karneval-is by far my favourite. I recently started playing Smite at the behest of my step-bro and although I was a little worried (knowing how bad I am at similar games like League I gave it a shot.) I actually did pretty good (against bots) and was getting fairly confident while playing Neith (you play as gods/goddesses from various religions) until I looked at her skill level and it was registered as "very easy." TT^TT I'll increase my skill level, you just watch me! :shakefist: I thought I was going super bonkers crazy the other day when I heard that one razor commercial on t.v. because as soon as I heard the voice over I thought "OMG IT'S FENRIS!!!!" :ohnoes: Please tell me I am not alone in this...:paranoid: And lastly, last night I had a bit of an "EXCUSE ME!?!" moment against the universe, because just as I was preparing for bed my music box started playing...BY ITSELF. O__O That's it, no more indie horrors for me...:sarcasm: And on that note...:paranoid: *EDIT* I had to abandon ship on Cal's long pointy douchebaggery horns. See, this is why reading instructions is important. I didn't leave the model magic long enough to dry and then it cracked and broke. But realistically, I don't see how I was going to make the train ride up with them anyways!
